Vice Governor Sui Jun Meets with German Guests

On April 10, Vice Governor Sui Jun met in Fuzhou with a German delegation headed by Dr. Volker Wissing, Deputy Minister-President and Minister for Economic Affairs, Transportation, Agriculture and Viniculture of Rheinland-Pfalz.
Madam Sui welcomed the guests and briefed them on Fujian’s latest developments. Driven by promising industries, improving infrastructure and business environment, and a host of preferential policies granted by the Central Government, Fujian has become one of the most open and competitive regions in China. The year 2018 marks the 29th anniversary of the establishment of sister relationship between Fujian and Rheinland-Pfalz. Madam Sui hoped that both sides can further intensify cooperation on chemical engineering, medicine, environmental protection, equipment manufacturing and tourism.
Dr. Wissing expressed his appreciation for Fujian’s rapid development, and expected further cooperation between the two sides in areas like tourism, IT application, and artificial intelligence.In Fuzhou, the 41-member delegation attended Rheinland-Pfalz Promotion and Sino-German Business Matchmaking Program co-hosted by the Provincial Department of Commerce and Ministry for Economic Affairs, Transportation, Agriculture and Viniculture of Rheinland-Pfalz. The delegation also had talks with officials from the Provincial Department of Commerce and Fujian Development and Reform Commission, and visited Fujian Benz and Framas. The delegation visited Xiamen on April 11.
